Children already have stories. They deserve the words to tell them.

I’m the founder of StoriesLens—a journalist, Columbia Journalism and International Affairs graduate, documentary filmmaker, IB Film and English teacher, and China Ambassador for the Student Television Network.

I built StoriesLens because many children have remarkable ideas but struggle to cross the distance between imagination and the blank page. They do not need technology to write for them. They need a patient mentor that listens, asks the right next question and helps them find their own words.

Master Yu guides children from an original idea to thoughtful revision, read-aloud confirmation and a finished book, comic or film—independently, with people they trust, or in the classroom.
